We ironically happened to scope 20 minutes of the October 23 morning show of JC and the U Man on KIHT 96.3 – K-Hits 96 in St. Louis. These radio veterans with over 35 years of radio experience each, were the latest talent to be eliminated as corporate radio cuts costs by eliminating the veterans who actually know what makes radio work.

Sample Podcast “album art” now up.

I’ve modified the RSS stream to include an images tag for an “album art” cover. If you’re subscribed with itunes, and would like to see it, highlight the podcost in itunes, click on the “Advanced” pull-down menu, then select “Get Album Artwork.”   You’ll need an itunes store account (and therefore an itunes store ID or Apple ID) in order to retrieve it.   Then let me know in a comment here if you can see it. Or drop a note to admin2 @ allthingsradio . net. The album cover just says “All Things Radio . net” in plain text. Nothing fancy yet.   It should look like this:

This url www.AllThingsRadio.net is the new home of the “All Things Radio Blog”. This used to be at www.Legend-Oldies.com.

We’ve made the move to have the URL consistent with the name of the blog, and so that we can put a new community-oriented Content Management Blog over at www.legend-oldies.com.

I (Dave Appel, one of Bill’s computer associates) am in the process of updating the links to the podcasts. I’ve updated the latest links first.

Be sure you update your Itunes podcast to the new URL for the RSS feed:

I’ve used the import/export feature to move things over, but as usually, not all things moved 100%. The import/export did not move over the registered users, so you will need to register again in order to comment.
